1. Acceptance of Terms

By using VA Josie ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service. These Terms apply to all users, whether signed in or not.

2. Service Description

VA Josie is an AI-powered assistant platform designed for Filipino Virtual Assistants (VAs) and freelancers. We provide:

• Personalized career advice via interactive chat
• AI-powered Cover Letter generation
• AI-powered Profile Optimization and Resume building
• Skill development tips tailored to VA needs
• Industry insights for freelancing success
• Guidance on using AI tools to enhance productivity

The Service operates on a credit-based system: new users receive 10 free credits upon signup. Credits are used for various features like sending messages, generating cover letters, and optimizing profiles (see Section 4).

3. Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Each user may have only one account.
• You must be 18 years or older to use the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits and Usage

VA Josie uses a unified credit system for accessing premium features:

• Free Credits: New users receive 10 free credits upon signup, usable across all credit-based features.
• Purchasing Credits: Additional credits can be purchased directly within the application. Currently, we offer a package of 800 credits for P199, payable via GCash. Look for the purchase button in the sidebar.
• Usage: Credits are consumed as follows:
  • Sending a message to Josie: 1 credit
  • Generating a Cover Letter: 10 credits
  • Optimizing your Profile: 100 credits
  Responses from Josie do not deduct credits.
• No Refunds: Purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Free credits have no cash value.

You agree to use the Service respectfully, avoiding spam, harassment, or attempts to manipulate the credit system.

5. Acceptable Use

• Use VA Josie for lawful, personal career development purposes only.
• Do not share sensitive personal information beyond what’s necessary for account setup.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Respect intellectual property rights and confidentiality of the advice provided.

Violation of these rules may result in termination of your access to the Service.

6. Content Ownership and Use

The advice and content generated by VA Josie are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell this content without our written permission. We retain ownership of all AI-generated content and intellectual property related to the Service.

7. Limitations of Liability

VA Josie provides career guidance based on AI technology. While we strive for accuracy, you are solely responsible for decisions made based on this guidance. We are not liable for:

• Errors or inaccuracies in the advice provided.
• Outcomes of your career or business decisions.
• Service interruptions or data loss.

Use the Service at your own risk and verify critical advice independently.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it (including the credit system) at our discretion, with or without notice. We may also terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have questions or concerns, contact us via our official channels. For unresolved disputes, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any legal action will be resolved in Philippine courts.

10. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be posted here with the updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Logo Usage Rights

VA Josie has obtained approval from the creator of Avatar Generator from Canva to use the generated logo for commercial purposes. We have been granted the rights to utilize this logo in connection with our service.
